Phil LaMarr is an actor and comedian, who Futurama fans know as the voice of Hermes Conrad, the lovable Jamaican bureaucrat. A Yale graduate and a former member of Yale's improv comedy group Purple Crayon, he has an extensive list of credits in movies, TV, and games, as well as a number of voice-over acting roles. He is perhaps most widely remembered for his five seasons on the Fox sketch-comedy series MADtv, his role as the doomed Marvin in Pulp Fiction, and the title role in the Cartoon Network series Samurai Jack.
